A friend posted the video below on facebook this morning–I must share with you.

At first, I thought “how cute”, “what a cool idea”, “must have been fun to be there”.  Then my heart softened and eyes spilled as they sang:

“The kingdom of this world; is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ and of His Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever“.

Why was I becoming a puddle?  It took a moment, but then I saw it: in the heart of commercial America–the traditional place where the god of material wealth (mammon) is served–on the eve of Halloween (Satan’s holy day) God was deliberately and overtly glorified!  Praises sung, Truth proclaimed!  Even “Christ” was spoken, and not as a swear word.

I don’t know the motives behind this musical extravaganza.  I just now know on a deeper level that He is:

King of kings forever and ever
and lord of lords hallelujah hallelujah
And he shall reign forever and ever

Hallelujah indeed!
